Established in 2002, we have grown to become the premier provider of certified bolting solutions, driven by a simple mission: to deliver reliable, precise torque and tensioning tooling that guarantees joint integrity across critical industries.
We are proud to be the sole Atlas Copco Bolting Solutions Provider for the UK & Ireland, a designation that underscores our technical expertise and commitment to supplying world-leading equipment.

20 YEARS OF QUALITY
Torque Solutions Ltd is celebrating 20 years in business, in this time this Yorkshire based company has become known as one of the UK leading suppliers for hydraulic and electric bolting equipment.
Situated on their original site in Sheffield, with a purpose-built facility, Torque Solutions carries an extensive range of tooling for either hire or buy.
At The Beginning – In the early days husband and wife team Peter and Ruth Allsopp started the company as they saw an opening in the sector for high power to low weight tooling, for several markets including the onshore and offshore wind industry.
Quickly they attracted significant interest gaining supply contracts with some of the UK’s leading companies in the Wind Industry.
Peter and Ruth invested heavily in the early years into a rental fleet of tools, and this is still a major part of the business today.
WHO WE ARE
Originally Torque Solutions was known solely for Hydraulic Torque Tooling however due to the demands of the Renewables Sector and the partnership with brand leader Atlas Copco this then lead Hydraulic Tensioning Tools becoming a significant part of the tooling supplied.
Increased Offering – Hand Tools, Bespoke Tool Kits and Hand Torque Wrenches are also part of the package of products now supplied. Torque Solutions Ltd has a designated workshop area which is designed for small modifications and fabrication of customer specials. This enhances the offering, quickens turnaround times and enables flexibility to our clients.
Battery Tools – In 2020 Torque Solutions also embarked on a major investment in their hire fleet of Battery tools. Making the big step into more advanced battery tools with transducers.
Rental Fleet – Today’s rental fleet includes Hydraulic Torque Tooling including Square Drive and Cassette/Link Tools, Wind Tensioners and a complete range of 110V or 230V Hydraulic Torque and Tension Pumps. Battery Tools from Atlas Copco and CP with a range up to 8100Nm.
